EP 19 Meet the World's Oldest Female Competitive Ninja Athlete

It’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years!

An actress, dancer, and competitive athlete in both Ninja and swimming, Ginny MacColl - age 72 - began her career in New York City in 1974 as a dancer in the hit Broadway show, Pippin.

She then transitioned into the commercial world and did over 100 national and regional commercials throughout the 70s and 80s. (Tap here to watch them - it’s a wonderful stroll down memory lane.)

After a 20-year hiatus to raise her family and work in radio, Ginny rekindled her acting career in retirement and also began strength training, inspired by her daughter, Jessie Graff, who has gone farther than any female on American Ninja Warrior.

At 63, Ginny did her very first pull up and later competed on American Ninja Warrior, Seasons 9, 10, and 15, making history at age 71 as the oldest person to complete an obstacle.

AND, She was just named the oldest competitive female ninja athlete in the 2024 Guinness World Record Book!

Ginny passionately embraces aging and encourages others to see their Renaissance Years as a time to pursue new dreams and opportunities.

Whether you're looking to make a change or just seeking some inspiration, this episode is packed with insights that remind us all that it’s never too late to defy ageist beliefs and begin building a thriving, vibrant future.
